KLP® Hybrid Plastic Sleepers have been developed as an effective and sustainable alternative to concrete, steel and timber sleepers, S&C bearers and bridge bearers.

Both concrete and steel sleepers must be installed and repaired using heavy lifting machinery; their weight and bulk present significant disadvantages when it comes to cost - in time, labour and money. Timber sleepers are extremely susceptible to wear and tear and they are increasingly being replaced with concrete or steel sleepers in areas where environmental conditions can warp, or rot timber.

The advantages of the KLP® Hybrid Plastic Sleepers include:
