KLP® Hybrid Plastic Sleepers

The KLP® Hybrid Plastic Sleeper is an excellent alternative to the timber, concrete and steel sleepers in current UK use.

Maintenance free and fully tested, they have superior lateral resistance in ballast and durable high end benefits that will last a long expected lifespan of over 50 years.

To achieve the required rigidity and strength, KLP® Hybrid Plastic Sleepers are reinforced with two steel bars, completely encased within the plastic during the moulding process. They use 35% less material than the traditional shaped solid sleepers and can be supplied with either flat, or inclined baseplate areas.
